In my role as a property manager in the Costa Alegre of Jalisco, I had the opportunity to work closely with Jorge Alberto Alberto Sánchez Angulo when one of my clients selected his firm, Mexican Houses, to design and build her dream home on the beach of Melaque.
From our initial encounter with their design team in early 2006 through the completion of the house on-time and within budget, we were impressed with their professionalism, creativity, quality, and responsiveness.
During the design phase they closely listened to her needs and were able to conceptualize her dream and design a creatively stunning home. Our suggestions for changes to the initial concept were accepted and integrated into the plan.
With their executive project, we were provided with very complete plans, sketches, detailed breakdowns of costs, as well as a virtual tour of the house.
In the construction phase we were provided with a detailed time-line for completion, and a top-notch team worked diligently to meet it.
The construction site was kept very tidy, the workers were polite, and the architect provided constant oversight. The quality of the work, from rough masonry to finish carpentry, was exceptional. Reports and photos were provided to my client (who was not here for most of the project) by e-mail, and I was briefed frequently in person by the architect and foreman. Communication was great throughout the process.
My client’s home includes a lot of wood and palapa and other natural elements, and the finished house nestles perfectly amongst the palms as it blends into the tropical environment. Many people have stopped to comment on the beauty of the design.
Overall our experience with Mexican Houses Architects was a very positive one, and I do not hesitate in the least to highly recommend this firm to you.

En mi papel de Gerente de Propiedades, en la Costa Alegre de Jalisco. Tuve la oportunidad de trabajar muy cercanamente con Jorge Alberto Sanchez Angulo, cuando uno de mis clientes seleccionó su compañía, Mexican Houses, para diseñarle la casa de sus sueños en la playa de Melaque.
Desde el primer encuentro, con su equipo de diseño en el 2006 y a lo largo del desarrollo de la obra, estuvieron dentro del presupuesto y cumplieron en tiempo y forma. Por lo que quedamos con una buena impresión de su profesionalismo, creatividad, cualidad y correspondencia.
Durante la fase de diseño, ellos escucharon muy de cerca nuestras necesidades y fueron capaces de conceptualizar los sueños de mi clienta y diseñar una casa creativa y hermosa. Nuestras sugerencias para los cambios al concepto inicial fueron aceptadas e integradas al plano.
En su proyecto ejecutivo, nos entregaron planos muy completos, bocetos, flujo de efectivo muy detallado, y un recorrido virtual de la casa.
Para la fase de construcción, nos entregaron un flujo de efectivo y calendario de ejecución del proyecto y con un equipo de primera clase, desarrollaron la obra a tiempo. El sitio de construcción siempre lo tuvieron muy recogido, los trabajadores eran amable, y el arquitecto proporcionó constante vigilancia. La calidad del trabajo, de la albañilería rustica y los terminados de carpintería, fueron excepcionales.
Mi clienta (quien casi no estuvo en el lugar de la obra ) siempre recibió reportes periódicos de fotografías, vía correo electrónico y yo me reunía frecuentemente con el arquitecto y el residente de obra. La Comunicación fui excelente a lo largo de todo el proceso de la obra.
La casa de mi cliente incluye mucha madera, palapa y otros elementos arquitectónicos con materiales naturales, además la casa terminada esta abrigada perfectamente con las palmas y se integra muy bien a su entorno tropical. Mucha gente se detiene para comentar sobre la belleza del diseño.
En síntesis; nuestra experiencia con Sanchez Angulo fui muy positiva, y yo no dudaría en recomendarles ampliamente su compañía.
